In other articles on this site, we have all agreed and promoted the fact that luggage made from leather is superior to most other types of materials used for making luggage. We know this already and we are not trying to determine if it is worth getting it – we know it is.

Therefore, this post is more directed towards having designer luggage and determining if it is indeed worth having. Most luggage that is designer is leather anyway but has the extra label on it as well as some classic or cool designs.

Cost – By far this is what the main point is. Designer anything is always way more expensive than anything else that is not. If money is not an issue for you then this point will mean nothing to you. However, if your pockets are a bit light then it will be an issue. You need to weigh up your desire for a label against your need for everything else that is keeping you alive.

Status – As lightly touched upon above, having a label means more to a lot of people than their current expenses. The only people that will care if you have designer leather luggage are other people just like you and you will have status in their eyes. To all the other people that do not really care, it will mean nothing. You need to decide what is important to you and that may be how you appear to others.

Style – Unquestionably, a designer luggage will have a bit more style than any other luggage available. This is because those that have designed it are at the forefront of fashion and tell every one else what is beautiful at any point in time. I must agree that designer things are really lovely and if you know nothing about fashion or style, having your luggage as leather as well as designer will certainly give you the appearance of it.

Features -You do pay for style but you also pay for the extra features and touches that a designer brings to luggage. Usually made from leather anyway because of its class and durability, you will find some extra nice things on and in your luggage.
